7 years young Zakiya Usman(F) has been granted a full coverage scholarship by an online blog of Local Information Communication in Auchi Sacred Kingdom , Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State on Tuesday, 16th of January.
Covering her 2nd, 3rd and 1st Terms’ tuition, Books, Textbooks, Bag, Uniforms, Sportswear, cardigan, stockings, Shoes and other academic essentials for the year 2024, Enaholo J.K. , the Administrator in charge of ABS News Network made all necessary payments to the Proprietress of Future Builders Academy (Zakiya’s school) -noting that yearly, as long as AUCHI BLOG & SERVICES earns and gets the requisite support, Zakiya’s academic needs shall be met until she finishes her tertiary education.
Responding to the gesture, her mother, Mrs. Usman who hails from Agbede in an emotional outpouring appreciated the ABS team for finding her daughter worthy of the scholarship -stating that it has been a difficult journey since her late husband transited from worldly life (leaving her with 5 boys and a girl 6) in the year 2020.
The petty trader who engages in the processing of cassava into fufu to make ends meet noted that the development has come as a great relief to the family and prayed fervently that those behind the gesture continue to grow from Grace to Grace.
On her part, Big Aunty Charity, the Proprietor of Future Builders Academy showered encomiums on Auchi Blog & Services for the platform’s consistency at ensuring that beyond dissemination of information, through her vast network of well meaning people, families are being positively touched in and around Auchi.
She assured ABS that the gesture will not be taken for granted -noting that the young child is brilliant and would definitely make her benefactors proud.
Addressing the family and teachers of the pupil, Enaholo J. Kadiri stated that the need to take up the life project of ensuring that throughout Zakiya’s academic journey from primary to tertiary education her academic needs are met stems from the his desire to reach out to the less privileged in the society with a view to ensuring that the widening gap between the haves and haves not is reduced.
He noted that more than that, the project is a sponsored one in the sense that as long as ABS gets patronage and support from kind hearted individuals the project will succeed.
He challenged other small, medium and large businesses in and around Auchi to beyond making a living for their owners and staff, do well to reach out to the likes of Zakiya in various communities as in doing so, the future of the Girl-Child is secured and positioned for positivity.
The young Local Blogger who hails from Ughidane village of Utsogun Heritage Zone seized the opportunity to thank his current biggest sponsor (who does not wish to be mentioned) and enjoined the family of Zakiya to help say prayers to God for the benefactor with a view to seeking God’s pleasure upon her.
It is hoped that this would spur more well meaning people, businesses, socio-cultural groups, associations, institutions to support projects undertaken by Auchi Blog (going forward) for the sake of creating positive impact on humanity collaboratively.
