The Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, HRH, Alh. Aliru H. Momoh has stated that Hon. Abubakar Momoh, Minister of Niger-Delta Development Commission NDDC is doing well within the expectations of Niger-Deltans in carrying out his functions.
ABS News Network reports that he made the assertion on Tuesday while expressing elation over the successful meetings held between the South-South Traditional Rulers Council members and critical national stakeholders of Nigeria in Abuja.
His Highness noted that Abubakar Momoh has shown enough commitment to service by meeting relevant individuals, organizations, institutions and all stakeholders in the Niger-Delta region with a view to ensuring that perceived and real problems facing the region are noted and attended.
“The Minister is really trying. Even the President, President Tinubu said it today and I pray that he succeeds in serving the mandate for which he is there.” He said.
This acknowledgement of Min. Abubakar’s performance as the current Chief Executive of the NDDC is coming in the aftermath of the 2day meetings held between members of the South-South Traditional Rulers Council and relevant national stakeholders at the Federal Capital Territory wherein the likes of Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Senate President and Sen. Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole were met with for the prosperity of their region. By: Enaholo J.
