The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria Auchi and District Society has Decorated Dr. Salisu Shehu Umar, the Rector of Auchi Polytechnic as a ‘Very Special Friend of ICAN’ on Saturday the 15th of June in Auchi Sacred Kingdom , the Headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo state.
Dr. S. S. Umar received the Award amidst cheers from members of the Institute who noted that his contribution towards the growth of the Institute and other academic areas of worth cannot be over hyped nor downplayed.
They challenged the Rector to keep putting in effort towards the betterment of society -noting that the reward for a job well done is indeed more work.
ICAN’s current first vice president, Hajia Queency Seghosime presented the Plaque -praying that more friends of the Institute like the Awardee would emerge to more ICAN forward.
On his part, the Rector appreciated the workings of ICAN -promising to keep supporting their positive projects and programmes.
