Enaholo J.K., publisher of ABS News Network has been recognized and decorated with an Award of excellence for his sterling contributions to community development by Sons and Daughters of Iyekhei Heritage zone on Monday, 17th of June at the maiden edition of Iyekhei Festival and Award Day IFAD2024 -held at Iyekhei Primary School in Auchi the headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
Presented by Dr. Muhammed Adamu Obomeghie, Deputy Rector (Academics) of Auchi Polytechnic, the community of Iyekhei people acknowledged the young chap’s effort at giving visibility to the numerous issues bothering Iyekhei in particular and Auchi Sacred Kingdom in general.
The Deputy Rector described Enaholo as a hard working young man who has carved a niche for himself as a community journalist who started from the scratch during the covid year and encouraged him to keep putting in effort to better mankind.
“Enaholo is my boy.
” I remember when I was the Dean of School of ICT, we all knew his worth and believed in his capacity to impact students.
“I see him all over Iyekhei spotlighting issues especially during the sports festivals as well as ecological matters and I am happy he is being encouraged with this award today.
” It is my prayer that you grow higher and better.” He said.
On his part, Jeremiah Kadiri appreciated the people of Iyekhei for recognizing his efforts and noted that the award would serve as a piece of motivation for him to keep doing his beat and best within available resources for the benefit of the community.
