Hikmah Schools Marks 21st Grad Ceremony, Prize Giving Day in Auchi

Staff, Students, Pupils, Parents, Guardians as well as the various affiliated publics of Hikmah Schools in Auchi have on Sunday the 28th of July celebrated Allah in the wake of the 21st graduation and prize day of the school.

The event which was held at the school’s premises in GRA Auchi saw the presence of HRH, Mallam Ali Suleiman, the Atoma of Imiegbai and Ogeagha of the 3 Ibies together with Chief Alhaji Suleiman Imonikhe Momoh, Takobi of Auchi and many other dignitaries who came to share in the joy of graduating students and pupils of the academic institution.

 

In his opening remarks, Dr. (Mallam) Tijani Oseni, Chairman Board of Trustees of Hikmah Schools thanked all for gracing the occasion with their presence despite their busy schedules and seized the opportunity provided by their presence to relate the gains of the school.

He noted that as Management optimistically anticipates the establishment of a school of health -an addition to the ever evolving and expanding academic institution, Hikmah Schools has recorded a lot of success in ensuring that parents, guardians get value for their monies.

 

Dr. Tijani informed all that as the world evolves in technology and other spheres of human endeavor, Hikmah Schools is not left behind as Management is putting in place an actionable plan to begin Computer Based Exams for her students -a development which he said would enable the students compete favourable with their counterparts globally in an ICT driven world.

 

He assured all of the continuous efforts of management towards creatively inspiring children to be better and useful to not just themselves but to the society as they grow and appealed that parents, guardians, partners and well meaning members of the public donate generously towards helping the school digitize her programmes and to finish the construction of the Mosque’s Ablution area and toilet.

 

The Graduation ceremony featured the presentation of a keynote address put together and delivered by Dr. Abubakar Idris Oseni, Dean of School of Evening Studies, Auchi Polytechnic , Auchi.

Tagged “The Burden of Educational Cost: Surviving the Hard Times and Maintaining Standard in Schools”, Dr. Abubakar’s lecture explored the challenges faced by schools and the need to maintain high standards despite the dire economic realities of the day.

 

Side attractions included Quranic recitations, rendition of Hadiths, Islamic entertainment, quizzes as well as other mind blowing activities meant to favourably position Hikmah Schools in the minds and hearts of all who came and to the world through the media.

 

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of prizes and the decoration of the Hufaz of the Quran who graduated from the School’s Islamiya having memorized the Holy Book of Islam.
