“Auchi Polytechnic is the most Gender Friendly Institution in the Country” _Rotary
Rotrn. Comrade Victor Okhamho, President of Rotary Club of Auchi Metropolitan has informed all that his Alma Mata, Auchi Polytechnic stands as the most Gender sensitive, friendly and equitable institution in the country where you have 3 women out of the top 6 management staff.
He made this known while addressing a gathering of Rotarians, Rotaractors as well as friends and guests of the Rotary Club District 9141 in the company of Rtn. Emeke Utebor, the District Governor in Auchi Polytechnic on Wednesday the 6th of March.
This is coming in the instance of the DG’s visit to Auchi where he met with the management of Auchi Polytechnic a foremost academic institution of tertiary education on a courtesy call.
Representing the Rector, Dr. (Mrs.) Edith Oyati welcomed the DG and informed him of the quality of products (students) produced by the institution -giving the assurances of citadel of learning’s commitment to building hands and brains for the development of the Nation -Nigeria.
She noted that management is pleased with the efforts of the Rotary Club to communal development amongst other impressive contributions to helping the less privileged and humanitarian services geared towards empowering people with skills and more -stating that these services are at the core of the Polytechnic’s value system.
On his part, the DG lauded the efforts of the management in ensuring that the institution is conducive for learning and other human activities.
He however challenged the institution to do more having done a lot -noting that the only reward for a job well done is more work.
