Ecological Concerns: Hassan Building Materials to the Rescue as Erosion Threatens Residents of Water Tanker Road
Mr. Aliu Hassan has come to the rescue of residents of Water Tanker road in the Oshiomhole-Osomeke axis of Auchi on Sunday after the heavy downpour that marked the 21st rainfall of the year in the community.
ABS News Network gathered that in the aftermath of the rainfall, the entrance into the street was badly eroded -making it difficult for residents to navigate their way out of the street.
In view of righting this dire development, the CEO of Hassan Building Materials reportedly bought 6 trips of Laterite and employed the requisite labour to fill up the eroded part -making it possible for many to enter into and exit the street.
Speaking to this kind gesture, Mallam Lucky Marcus Braimah lauded Aliu Hassan’s efforts -noting that the exercise is a cost intensive one given the current rate of inflation and economic downturn of the country.
On behalf of the residents of the area, he thanked Hassan for the help rendered and called on well meaning son’s, daughters, private and public institutions to come to the aid of the people to solve the lingering ecological problems in Auchi.
