Edo2024: “We Can’t Have a Better Edo if We Keep Voting the Old Order, Let’s Try Akpata-Asama” Kadiris, Others Propose
Members of the Kadiri Idaeo Royal Family of Auchi Sacred Kingdom have in a recent development called on the people of Edo State to not toe the old path of recycling either the PDP or APC come September 2024.
ABS News Network reports that a cross section of members of the family expressed dissatisfaction over how things have sunk from bad to worse in the country and stated that Edo State has not fared well in the anticipations of Edolites who queue behind party flag bearers every year with the hopes of bettering the state.
One after the other, stakeholders from the youth, elderly and mothers wings of the family decried what they called a betrayal of trust on the part of elected representatives from the local government to state level and appealed for a change as September polls beckon.
They called on the people of Edo State to look the way of Labour Party’s Olumide Akpata and Yusuf Asamah Kadiri (SAN) as the solution to Edo State’s challenges -noting that the duo are the only logical choice available for the task of rejuvenating the Heartbeat of the Nation (Edo State).
“Asamah Kadiri is progressive minded and development oriented personality who has very much helped to empower lots of Edo Youths within and outside of Edo State. He is trustworthy and has the capacity to work with Olumide Akpata who has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he can and will do Edo people proud if given the opportunity to do so.” Said Prince Aruna Kadiri, Youth President of Kadiri Progressive Youths.
Speaker after speaker enjoined Edolites to not be deceived and allegedly pointed out that the political promises and propaganda being pushed out by candidates of other political parties are as old as the economic crisis created by the same old order.
“We are presenting our best, Olumide and Kadiri. They are both sound and are going to make Edo State OK by God’s Grace” said Prince Nimble Momoh.
The political clouds have gathered and the race towards the seat of the Chief Executive of Edo State at the Osadebe Avenue is at its peak.
It is hoped that the people of Edo State would make their voting decision in accordance to their yearnings for a better Edo State.
