Female Staff Honor Auchi Polytechnic Rector as Gender Equality Champion
Under the aegis of Women in Technical Education (WITED) and in collaboration with the Center for Gender Studies, female Staff of Auchi Polytechnic have decorated Dr. Salisu Shehu Umar, Rector of Auchi Polytechnic as ‘Gender Equality Champion’ on Friday the 8th of March.
The group appreciated his unrelenting support for the course of Women noting that of the 6 top management staff of the Polytechnic under his reign, 3 are women.
Dr. S.S. Umar received the award plaque at the Auditorium amidst cheers as WITED encouraged him to do more for the growth of women -noting that women have a lot to offer in placing Auchi Polytechnic on a lofty and enviable height above her peers in the academic world.
