Community and Political Stakeholders as well as Chieftains across the 25 villages of Auchi Sacred Kingdom have during a Town Hall meeting at the HRH, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom Town Hall thrown their support for the candidacy of Labour Party’s Olumide-Kadiri come September 2024.
Speaking to the political weather of Edo State, Chief Alhaji Sule Yesufu, Daudu of Aibotse Heritage Zone stated that the time has come for the people of Auchi to support their own -using the political strength and advantage the community has invested in electioneering processes since 1999 to place Yusuf Asamah Kadiri in a favourable stead with his Running Mate beyond September 2024.
To cap this, Prince Dr. Nasiru Ikharo, Pioneer President of Auchi Development Foundation _ADF noted that the ADF is committed to supporting her own and stated that thankfully, the person of Yusuf Asamah Kadiri is a pioneer member of the ADF who will enjoy the support of ADF no matter what political party he belongs.
On his part, Alhaji Pa Anehru, the Ozaza of Auchi said that the time has indeed come for an Auchi man to be in power being that such has been far from their reach since 1999.
He enjoined all to not only support their own but more so, do well to garner support from all their friends across political parties, tribes and all to ensure that they coast victory for Asamah Yusuf Kadiri and his party.
Additionally, Mr. Abdulazeez Itanuasor, President of Auchi Dynamic Youths Association stated that a win for Asamah Yusuf Kadiri is a win for Auchi and that he is convinced that the person of Asamah Yusuf Kadiri would do well in government with a view to ensuring good governance.
In a related development, Hajia Honorable Hadiza appealed for unreserved support for an Auchi son -noting that it would be unwise for the community to not support her own when such golden opportunity has presented itself.
Other speakers like Prince Karim Kadiri, Chief Alhaji Aniru Garuba to mention a few corroborated the positions of the previous speakers and reiterated the saying that ‘Itsua-khi’tsua’ which means “our own is our own.”
