ABS News Network reports that a Coastal Bus filled with staff of Dangote Cement Factory in Okpella has been attacked on Monday -leaving one of the passengers in a critical condition as every other staff was abducted.
According to Okpella TV , the incident happened around 5pm -at the close of work.
Although it is unclear how many staff are currently in the captive of the Unknown Gunmen, DockaysWorld reports that according to the People’s Gazette, the coastal bus was ambushed and several workers were shot at during the assault.
Reportedly, one Michael Odofin, a spokesperson for Dangote Cement Factory in Okpella noted that the actual number of staff in the bus and full details of the passengers at the time could not be ascertained -stating that aside a badly injured colleague of his who was shot at his stomach and left behind, all other persons in the vehicle were taken away.
“I cannot give any details right now. The attack is still fresh. We have no one killed.” He said.
