His Royal Highness, Alh. Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred has together with other South-South Traditional Rulers visited and held closed door meetings with Senator Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Comr. Adams Oshiomhole, Senator representing the good people of Edo North Federal Constituency, Hon. Abubakar Momoh, Minister of the Niger-Delta Development Commission and other critical national stakeholders of Nigeria in the FCT.
The Otaru of Auchi joined his counterparts from the South-South Traditional Rulers Council on Monday in a private engagement where it is believed that the monarchs had to harmonize thoughts with a view to putting forward a common agenda before the national stakeholders with a view to ensuring that their demands are received and positively attended for the benefit of the people of South-Southern Nigeria in particular and for Nigerians everywhere -living in the country.
They thereon proceeded to meet with their sons who have ascended the national ladder of federal power to discourse issues bothering the overall welfare of the South-South –chief amongst whom are Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Sen. Adams Oshiomhole and Hon. Abubakar Momoh with whom it is believed the Noble Kings sued for positive performance through the purposeful projection of the needs of the people and places in their region of the country.
It was a hectic day of long hours of projections and discussions which are believed to have the propensity to help gain the requisite attention needed to solve the infrastructural, economic and socio-political deficits currently bedeviling the people of the South-South -considering her priceless and continuous contribution to the prosperity of Nigeria.
