Held on Saturday the 27th of July, the Fidau started with the recitation of the Qur’an and a special prayer session was held for the continuous repose of her soul.

Steming from the belief that the Former Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area Chairman’s mother lived a fulfilled and satisfactory life laced with an attitude of charity, the Fidau progressed into a celebration of a life well spent.

Dignitaries, the who-is-who of the All Progressives Congress (APC) filed into the residence of Honorable Yakson at the Government Reservation Area (GRA) in Auchi to join in the prayer session as well as join in the felicitations that ensued in recognition of the fact that Hajia Jeminetu truly lived -as not just the mother of the Uloko of Auchi but to all others.

Senator Monday Okpebholo, APC’s Governorship Candidate in the forthcoming Edo State Guba Polls together with his Running Mate, Hon. Denis Idohosa was present.

More so was the presence of the likes of Chief Richard Lamai, member of the Auchi Polytechnic Governing Council, Alhaji Razak Aliu, the National Hajj Commission Commissioner in charge of Policy Personnel and Finance amongst a revered group of APC Chieftains.

Chief Alhaji Yakubu Oshiorenoya appreciated the presence of all -stating that words could not describe the honor done him.

He prayed for the continuous repose of his late mother’s soul and seized the avenue to ask for forgiveness of the shortcomings of his late parents as well as that of Muslims that have transited from worldly life.

Hajia Jeminetu Osumah Musa who was 84 years old when she passed was born to the family of the late Alhaji and Mrs. Bawa Abdullahi of Afe Ogiri, Igbei Village in the year 1940 as the first child of Six children her late parents had.

She is fondly remembered as a compassionate mother not only to her children but to every child.
