Photostory: Okpokhuili Mosque is Officially Open as Chief Imam of Auchi Leads Worshippers in Prayers
The people of Okpokhuili of Akpekpe Heritage Village have in the company of Sons and Daughters from all over Auchi Sacred Kingdom inaugurated a newly constructed Mosque Building Project in Okpokhuili quarters of Akpekpe on Saturday, the 29th of June.
Located in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, the Mosque building project is a manifestation of the people’s commitment to ensuring the ease of assessing spiritually befitting places for worship.
Chief amongst the contributors to the manifestation of the Project is Habiba Suleiman, a Diasporan who has continued to reach out charitably as a proud daughter of Auchi despite her being millions of miles away from home.
Habiba congratuled the people of Okpokhuili-Akpekpe for achieving the feat and encouraged all to be closer to Almighty Allah in prayers, charity and good neighbourliness -stressing that through godly acts would prosperity prevail.
The inauguration ritual was conducted by Professor Zakariya Idris Oboh Oseni, the Chief Imam of Auchi who doubles as the Waziri of the community.
He encouraged all to be at peace and to genuinely seek the goodness in all -noting that there is no gain in being at loggerheads.
