Tragic Accident Claims Lives in Auchi
No fewer than 3 people are currently feared dead following an automobile accident that happened at Igbira Camp in Auchi, the headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.
The accident occurred on Sunday when a Lexus ES350 vehicle crashed into an okada (motorcycle), resulting in a devastating impact.
The crash, which took place at Onhemi, a spot known for its bustling Hausa-Fulani crowd, also left many individuals with varying degrees of injuries. The severity of the accident caused significant distress among the onlookers and residents of the area.
Upon the arrival of ABS News Network at the scene, it was observed that the deceased had already been moved, while those who sustained injuries were promptly taken away for medical attention. The swift response by emergency services and concerned citizens helped to manage the aftermath of the unfortunate occurrence.
The incident has cast a shadow over the community, with many expressing their condolences and prayers for the victims and their families, whilst many condemn the recklessness of many young drivers in the area. Although it is unclear what led to the accident, many believe the driver is allegedly a Yahoo boy under the influence of controlled substances.
