Rtn. Emeke Utebor, Governor of Rotary Club District 9141 has commended HRH, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom for his continued efforts at ensuring the engendering of peace and maintenance of same for the good of residents of the community.
The Governor on a courtesy call to the Auchi Royal Palace on Wednesday the 6th of March lauded the 90 years young Monarch -stating that the Otaru has created an enabling environment for all to thrive.
He appreciated and showed gratitude to His Highness -noting that the Otaru of Auchi, Alh. A.H. Momoh has engendered a lot of development which thrives on the wings of peace and tranquility -being blessings from God to a community under a blessed leader.
The DG noted that the Otaru of Auchi inspires Hope and has contributed immensely in ensuring that hope remains in the minds of the people.
He noted that sequel to the leadership style of the King, Rotary is doing well in Auchi -stating that today’s action as is being encouraged by the Otaru of Auchi has helped to create more hope in not just the community but in the world.
Emeke seized the opportunity to appeal for more Auchi Sons and Daughters to join Rotary so that more humanitarian services can be done.
Responding, Prof. Z.I. Oseni appreciated the show of gratitude and appreciation as was shown by the DG -noting that HRH is well acquainted with the workings of Rotary as her humanitarian services are at the heart of the core values of the Auchi Community.
He prayed for more grace of God upon members of Rotary and wished them well -with the hopes that more members of Auchi extraction would join the club soon.
Hajia Aminat Aperua-Yusuf lauded the activities of Rotary and enumerated some of their activities which includes the ‘End-Polio-Now’ campaign that has led to the end of the scourge in Nigeria amongst other humanitarian activities scattered all over the world.
She also seized the opportunity to let the group know that Auchi operates like an appreciable system of Government that has provided for every strata of the community’s wellbeing -noting that this has been the drive pushing up the community in her geometric ascension in the ladder of development.

This afternoon is part of orientation.” said the Otaru of Auchi who appreciated the goodness Rotary represents.
He congratulated Rotary for the laudable legacies and encouraged members of the club to keep pursuing humanitarian projects for the benefit of mankind.
Highpoint of the visit was the decoration of His Royal Highness with a Rotary pin of Hope.
